A model of a timberwolf from mechwarrior.
Took me 5 days to model, 1 day to rig and animate.

*attention* don't know how to optimize gif on web so wait for it to load one round for smooth animation
software used: Maya

Downgraded to LRM15s to allow for an extra M Pulse Laser and two more machine guns, with the .5 ton left going to armour. Yep, that's how I think the art versions of the Timber Wolf do it compared to the Prime's actual stats.

Very smooth animation, brilliant work. Love that you took into account of the suspension in the legs, giving it that little bounce in step as opposed to it simply lifting one knee at plopping it down.

I LOVE MECHWARRIOR!
Battletech stuff should be way more popular than it is now, I think.

Good job on its likeness! It could look a lot sturdier with different keyframes, as it kind of looks like it weighs an ounce and glides like a feather as-is.

When it drops, try to drop it much faster and little lower, with an immediate bounce afterwards, and I bet it'll 'feel' a lot heavier!
